Tessa apples are a hybrid of two apple varieties, McIntosh and Deacon, and are commonly grown in the southern Netherlands.

Do not store apples together with other foods like onions or garlic to avoid absorbing odors. Also, avoid placing apples near potatoes as apples can spoil easily.
