Nutrient contents:
According to traditional Chinese medicine, Korean Singo pears are cool in nature, gentle and non-toxic, with effects that promote body fluids, nourish blood, clear heat, moisten the lungs, and relieve cough.
The Singo pear from Korea is rich in vitamin C and essential minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, etc. It's a good source of vitamins B, C, PP, and soluble fiber, which are beneficial for heart health, helping to lower cholesterol and blood pressure, and preventing the risk of cancer.
Storage instructions:
To keep the freshness and ensure nutritional quality, Singo pears should be stored in a sealed plastic container in the refrigerator at temperatures ranging from 0°C to 4°C.
If pears are stored at room temperature, they will ripen faster (after 1-3 days).
Furthermore, the thin skin of pears is prone to bruising, so it's advisable to store them in a foam box to prevent impact damage, which could lead to spoilage, bruising, and internal discoloration.
